Julie, founder of Baby Intuition, understands that all new mothers need to be heard
particularly if they have experienced a traumatic birth or inconsistent post natal support.
Sometimes this is providing time to talk, or a few extra hours to sleep or a referral to another specialist hence the Pure Pregnancy Network was formed. Julie has been supporting new parents since 2009 as an Antenatal teacher, Postnatal doula and an Infant Feeding Counsellor (includes introducing solid food). She runs the Balham Breastfeeding Cafe on Mondays
10-12 noon and Bump & Babies Chat on Thursday 2-4 pm at St Lukes Church Hall.
We are a team of fully trained and experienced practitioners based in SW London. We offer kindness, support and signpost to other local professionals with a similar 'mother-centred' approach. Through our joint experience we are able to make a positive difference to a new parent's confidence. Bringing happiness and confidence back into your home.
Jenny has been supporting parents since 2013. As a mother of three young children, she knows that whatever your intentions and beliefs about parenting, the reality can sometimes be quite different and we can find ourselves needing some extra support. Jenny can observe breastfeeds and offer information and ideas appropriate to your situation, she can also signpost you to further resources or support as required.
Josie has been running local NCT antenatal courses since 2004, including NCT: Yoga for Pregnancy classes and qualified as a Breastfeeding Counsellor and birth doula in 2015.
Josie tends to specialise in supporting women with a previous traumatic birth or those with
a history of mental health issues. Josie also works as a Postnatal Doula providing new mothers and their partners with friendly, calm, non-judgemental, caring support during
the first few weeks and months.
Lucy qualified as a breastfeeding counsellor in November 2013. Lucy aims to enable mothers to make positive choices about how they feed their baby. Lucy will listen to how feeding is going, spend time on any challenges you are facing, discuss different positions for your optimal comfort and develop a feeding plan you feel comfortable with.
Lucie is a qualified breastfeeding counsellor and mother of 3, supporting new parents in Barnes, Wimbledon and Wandsworth at NCT and NHS run drop ins. She works with
